The Doñana National Park is the largest protected natural area in Spain.

Its privileged geographical location between two continents, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet, make it a privileged space with a mosaic of ecosystems (beaches, dunes, preserves, salt marshes) that give this park a unique personality.

History and Culture of Sanlúcar

Declared in 1973 a historical or artistic complex, Sanlúcar is a unique city where a great history coexists, with a culture linked to the sea and great discoveries.

From its port in 1519 the 5 boats that embarked on the adventure of circumnavigating the land, representing the first round the world trip.

At that time the trade between America and Seville made its door a benchmark and since Christopher Columbus left on his third expedition to the Americas.

The city was populated with churches, convents, and houses of porters of the Indies that can be enjoyed today.

The joy of Sanlúcar is reflected in the variety of its festivals that the Sanluqueño people share with pleasure with their visitors.

Horse racing on the beach was declared a festival of international tourist interest, something unique in the world.
